- The Embassy in Washington, DC will no longer accept the pre-paid envelope for ID, passport applications. The applicant will be called immediately when the Embassy receives the documents to arrange and facilitate the return services. The contact details should be clearly indicated on the application form.
- South African citizens are encouraged to renew their passports at least eight (8) months before the expiry of their passports.
