Print        Important: Foreigners intending to visit South Africa are hereby informed that their passports must have at least one blank visa page for the purpose of endorsement. The blank page needed for endorsement purposes excludes pages in a passport reserved for observations and amendments. Official Visa Official visa is issued to a foreigner who holds an official passport where that person, by virtue of the Diplomatic Immunities and Privileges Act, 2001, enjoys any immunities and privileges in the Republic of South Africa, and intends visiting the Republic on an official visit. Requirements: Visa application form Two (2) passport photos. A valid passport A note verbale from sending country confirming the purpose of the visit. Letter from an organ of state in the Republic confirming the purpose of the visit, if applicable.
