Print        Important: Foreigners intending to visit South Africa are hereby informed that their passports must have at least one blank visa page for the purpose of endorsement. The blank page needed for endorsement purposes excludes pages in a passport reserved for observations and amendments. Courtesy Visa A courtesy visa is issued to a distinguished visitor and certain members of his/her employ or his/her household, who has been allowed by the Minister of the Department of Home Affairs to be admitted to and sojourn in the Republic, provided that such foreigners do not intend to reside in the Republic permanently. Requirements: Visa application form Two (2) passport photos. A valid passport Letter from an organ of state in the Republic confirming the purpose and duration of the visit.
