This category refers to persons who intend to enter into business with one or more persons or to continue with an established business such as a propriety limited or limited company as well as close corporations or partnerships.  Applicant must, after twelve (12) months from their entry into such ventures or after the immigration permit has been issued, must submit evidence that their involvement resulted in substantial contribution towards the South African economy or the full time employment of at least two (2) South African citizens or permanent residents of the Republic, excluding family members.

Unless the prospective immigrant holds a valid work permit to conduct the said business, the application must be submitted abroad.
